Promoting events

As a long-term podcaster, author, and Orvis brand ambassador, Tom is a known name in the fly fishing community. This event, hosted in select Orvis stores, offers fans the opportunity to meet Tom, hear him give a presentation, and enter a sweepstakes by test casting the new Helios rod.

To promote this event, I needed to design creative that would work for a mix of needs: direct mail, retail signage, social assets, and email. To work in all of these channels, I wanted this to be simple but bold, so I went with a silhouette of Tom and made him the blue that the brand had been using for the new Helios launch, and paired it with bright orange and yellow brand colors. The off-white is working to soften the loudness a bit. I decided to animate the background shapes in the social asset to make it even more engaging.
